The Weekend

I had a pretty uneventful weekend. On Friday night, I spent all night looking through old photos and pretty much just enjoying the house, which I had to myself. It was quiet and very relaxing to say the least. Then, I had to work on Saturday (longest day of my life!). I am finishing up my reading endorsement for work so there I was, sitting in class from 8am-3:30pm on a Saturday! It sucked and it went by so slooooow but I got it done. Just one more Saturday to go, thank God.

Then, today... Sunday... I literally spent it all day indoors (except for a tiny little while that I decided to go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather). I have so many assignments for school that I feel a bit overwhelmed. But I must say, even though I didn't get nearly as much as I had anticipated, I still did manage to get a lot of work done so I was happy about that. I just know it's going to be a very long next two-two and half weeks.

Thankfully, I had the company of my lovely little Jack <3 He's so cute... he's always playing hide and seek with me... haha.

At around 6pm, I decided to sit outside with my mom for a while. The weather felt so good and we just sat there on the swing and just played with the dogs and talked about gardening. Yes, gardening. My mom and I are going to start gardening together. I have decided to learn how to not kill plants since I've managed somehow to kill every single plant I have ever owned. And then, I've just felt bad. My mom, on the other hand, is really good at it and has all kinds of little plants and stuff all over the backyard.
