I'm Officially on Vacation!

Yes! The school year is officially over and although I have a three-day workshop this coming week, I have decided to not count that and believe that I am on vacation. Because, honestly, my mind has been on vacation-mode for quite some time now. ha ha.

My flight leaves on the 19th and I will be gone for the entire summer... in HAWAII! I cannot express how much I need to just pack my things and GO! So. Many. Reasons. I'm excited but nervous because I've never been away from home for that long but yes, my excitement goes beyond any other feeling.

I hope this summer is a productive one, in the sense that I hope I do everything I would like to do while I'm gone. My mind has been racing with all kinds of projects to stimulate my mind's creative side. And needless to say, I'm so happy to (for the first time) actually enjoy my summer. I've been teaching for six years now and not once have I actually had the summer off. ha ha. I don't miss school not even a little bit this semester.

I hope to blog plenty while I am gone... sharing favorite memories & photos along the way. I plan for this to be one of my most amazing experiences in life yet.
