2013

It's seems almost unreal that 2013 is almost over. What started off as a terrible year and one I thought I would always look back on full of regret has turned out to be a year of lots of introspection, self-learning, and just pure amazing-ness. I really, truly couldn't have asked for much more in 2013.

2013 has been a year of change, challenges, beginnings, endings, and a whole lot of travel. In early 2013, my small photography business was born. In February, I saw Pink in concert. Throughout the year, I traveled to: Oregon(three times!), Hawaii, Washington, DC, and Baltimore. I also turned 30 in 2013!!! In the summer, Malachite became my youngest and most mischievous son. I also found a new place to call home which I absolutely love. Lastly, I ended 2013 having completed all of my doctoral classes. 

I guess one could say it has been a crazy, busy year for me but man, it's been amazing and fulfilling and I wouldn't have had it any other way ♥ I am excited for 2014. I have BIG plans for the new year and I am confident I can make them happen.
