Hello, December!

My favorite month of the year. Christmas trees, Christmas lights, Christmas music. Cooler weather. Hot chocolate. Home baked cookies. Family coming over. Presents. And the best thing? Travel. I get two weeks off from work and the opportunity to travel to a place I look forward to every day.

What is there to not love about December?

I will say, though, that I am totally behind on buying my Christmas presents. Last year, I promised myself I would have my shopping done by October. Well, that didn't quite happen. I also need to make sure I stock up on winter clothes for my trip... brrrrrrr. It's going to be cold!!

And while I can't believe 2013 is almost over, I am kind of happy that it is. I started the year off on well.... a very bad foot. I made choices that were among some of the worst choices I had ever made. I learned the hard way many important things. 

So hello, December! I have been waiting for you! Please, please, please... let's close off this year the right way. I can't wait.
